  阅读与写作

  Reading and Writing

  DO

  1.Read the instructions and study any examples carefully.

  仔细读题并参考题例。

  2.Do exactly what the instructions say (for example, only write one word for each space in Part 7).

  严格按照题目说明进行答题(例如,在第7部分中,每个空格处只写一个单词)。

  3.Answer all the questions, even if you are not sure of your answers.

  即使你对某些答案不是很确定,也要答完所有题目。

  4.Check your answers and make sure you have written them in the correct place on the answer sheet.

  DON’T

  1.Don’t worry if there are words you don’t understand. Try to guess what they mean.

  2.Don’t make a spelling mistake when you are copying the words in Part 8.

  3.Don’t write fewer than 25 words in Part 9.

  1.Practise listening to English as much as possible.

  3.Don’t worry if you don’t know how to spell a word – this might not be a problem.

  4.Don’t forget to take care to transfer your answers to the answer sheet correctly.

  1.Make sure you know what you have to do in both parts of the test.

  3.Practise speaking English in many different situations so that you can speak clearly even if you are nervous.

  12.Always try to answer the questions, even if you are worried about making mistakes. The examiners can’t mark you if you don’t say anything.

  DON’T

  1.Don’t worry too much about making grammatical mistakes.

  不要因为太过担心语法错误而在口语表述中自乱阵脚。

  2.Don’t worry if you don’t understand. Just ask the examiner to repeat or explain the question.

  如果没有听懂,也不要太过担心,可以让考官解释说明或重复一遍问题。

  3.Don’t prepare long answers and try to learn them in advance.

  不要事先准备篇幅过长的答案并试图死记硬背。

  4.Don’t worry if you think your partner is not as good at speaking English as you, or is much better than you. The examiners mark you individually.

  不必担心你和搭档的英语水平不对等而影响整体效果,考官会根据每个人的实际情况进行评分。

  5.Don’t be so nervous that you don’t speak. The examiners can’t mark you if you don’t say anything.

  千万不要因为紧张而在考试中说不出话来,这样考官没法评分。

  6.Don’t worry if the examiner stops you. It is important that the tests are not too long.

  如果考官在中途打断你,也不需要担心,因为适当控制考试时长也是非常重要的。


  B1 Preliminary

  DO

  1.Look at practice tests so that you know all the task types.

  事先通过模拟试卷了解所有的试题类型。

  2.Do lots of general reading practice in class and at home, especially the kinds of texts used in the Cambridge English: Preliminary exam.

  在课堂内外进行大量的泛读练习,尤其是剑桥英语B1 Preliminary考试中采用的文章类型。

  3.Keep a vocabulary notebook to write down new words and make notes about how to use each word.

  身边常备单词本,随时记下新单词,并且记下每个单词的用法。

  4.Read the instructions and study any examples carefully.

  5.Make sure that you can skim and scan (read a text quickly for the main ideas or to find specificinformation).

  2.Don’t worry if there is a word you don’t know – try to guess its meaning.

  3.Don’t write a full rough copy for Writing Parts 2 and 3. Just write quick notes to plan your answer.

  4.Don’t worry too much about making grammar mistakes in Writing Parts 2 and 3. Communicating is theimportant thing.

  1.Read the instructions carefully for each part.

  2.Look at the questions, text and pictures and think about what kind of information you are going to hear.

  3.Listen to and look at the example question.

  仔细听,认真看每部分的答题示例。

  4.Answer as much as you can when you hear the recording for the first time.

  次听录音时,尽可能回答更多问题。

  5.Check your answers and find any missing answers when you hear the recording for the second time.

  在第二次听录音时,做好检查,并争取把次漏过的题都答上。

  6.Answer all the questions, even if you are not sure – you probably understand more than you think andeven a guess might be correct (and always better than leaving a blank).

  一定要答完所有的题目,即使对于有些答案不是很确定,靠“猜“填上也比空着强。结合你听到的信息和理解做出的判断很可能是正确的。

  7.Only transfer your answers to the answer sheet when you are told to do so, at the end of the test.

  1.Don’t worry if you don’t hear clearly enough to answer the first time. Everything is played twice.

  2.Don’t panic if you don’t understand everything in the text – you probably don’t need to.

  如果不能做到理解文章里的所有信息,也不要惊慌,因为可能并不需要。

  3.Don’t change your answers when you are transferring them to the answer sheet.

  In General

  1.Practise your English, in and out of the classroom, as much as you can.

  3.Try to give more than one-word answers.

  In Parts 2 and 4

  1.Talk to your partner, not the examiner.

  2.Ask your partner questions.

  3.Listen to your partner’s answers and look at them to show that you are interested in what they aresaying.

  In Part 3

  1.Talk about everything you can see in the photograph – for example, colours, clothes, time of day, weather.

  2.If you don’t know a word, try to explain what you mean using other words.

  DON’T

  In General

  1.Don’t worry too much about making grammatical mistakes.

  2.Don’t worry too much if you don’t know a word.

  3.Don’t worry if your partner is a stronger or weaker speaker than you. The examiners assess you individually.

  不必担心你和搭档的英语水平不对等而影响整体效果,考官会根据每个人的实际情况进行评分。

  4.Don’t sit in silence in the test, even if you are nervous – the examiners can’t give you marks if you don’t speak.

  即使你会紧张,也不要在口语考试中保持沉默——如果你不开口说话,考官无法给你评分。


  In Parts 2 and 4

  1.Don’t speak for too long without involving your partner.

  不要说太久,给你的搭档留一些表现的机会。


  In Part 3

  1.Don’t try to talk about things or ideas outside the photograph.

  不要谈论照片以外的事物或想法。

  2.Don’t stop talking if there is a word you don’t know, just talk about something else you can see.

  不要因为不知道某个单词而停止讲话,谈谈你看到的别的东西就可以了。
