人们都喜欢的土豆
people are like potatoes.

After potatoes have been harvested, they have to be spread out and sorted in order to get the maximum market dollar. They are divided according to

size-big, medium, and small. After the potatoes have been sorted and bagged, they are loaded onto trucks.
土豆收割之后需要摊开并分类。这样才能卖到的市价。它们分为大、中、小号，分完类，装完袋，然后就装到卡车上。

 All the potato farmers use this method all but one.
所有种土豆的农场主都用这种方法——只有一个人例外。

One farmer never bothered to sort the potatoes at all. Yet he made the most money.
这位农场主根本就不费那个劲把土豆分类，可是他赚的钱却最多。

A puzzled neighbor finally asked him, “What is your secret?” He said, “It’s simple. I just load up the wagon with potatoes and take the roughest road to

town, during the eight-mile trip, the little potatoes always fall to the bottom. The medium potatoes land in the middle, while the big potatoes rise to

the top.”
一个迷惑不解的邻居终于问道：“你的秘密是什么？”他回答说：“很简单，我就是把土豆装到车上，然后挑最不好走的路去城里。在这8英里的路上，个儿小的土

豆总是掉到下面，中等个儿的会留在中间，而大个儿则会跑到上面。”
That’s not only true of potatoes. It’s a law of life. Big potatoes rise to the top on rough road, and tough people rise to the top in rough times.

不仅土豆是这样，生活当中也是这样。崎岖路上大个儿土豆会往上跑，艰难时刻坚强的人脱颖而出。
 
是的，人是分为三六九等的，不是先天造就的，而是自己把自己归为那个类别。在了历尽艰辛后之后，方会显现出自己的与众不同。想成就一个美好的未来，还

是得问问自己，在人生的每一个关口自己是否坚持过来，勇敢地挺住了。
又在面临一个新的选择，还得告诉自己：
“I WANT, I CAN!  I WILL PERSIT UNTILL I SUCCEED!”
