新托福考试的类和第二类题型并没有引起同学足够的重视，由于此二类题型和后面的四类题型相比，从综合性上来看，难度要低不少，所以同学都会忽视这两类题型的难度，导致考场上同学都出现了不应该的丢分。所以对于这两类题型在考前的准备是十分必要的，那么如何有效地去做好准备工作呢?
同学陷入了一个误区，认为模板应该背，所以同学都是背诵了几十个模板然后在考场上因为模板互相混淆导致回答混乱。其实模板应该控制在的数量，争取可以做到用一个模板和段子解决的问题。
还有同学对于过去出过的真题的研究也是陷入了混乱，对于自己遇到的每一道考题都单独进行准备，导致准备的工作量巨大。因此对于iBT口语题里面的内容进行分类是必须的。那么通过总结可以发现题所涉及的内容不外乎有四点，分别是：事件，休闲，任务，地点。那么对于每一类的内容，也是存在极度类似的题目使得我们完全可以用相同的材料故事进行套用。
对于相同可套用的topic我们应该准备出可以高频重复使用的段落举个例子：
2009.2.14的考题：Which important skill do you think as a student should learn? Please include specific examples and details in your explanation.
2009.4.13的考题：Describe one thing you have ever learnt in your childhood. Include reasons and details to support your response.
2009.9.20的考题：Describe the favorite subject you have studied. Explain why it is your favorite subject. Include reasons and details to support your response.
2009.12.5的考题：If you could study a subject you have never learned, what do you choose? Explain your choice, using specific reasons and details in your explanation.
对于09年的这四道题目来说，应该能发现的就是我们完全可以用一个例子来套用，要注意，我们所用的例子是最生活，最简单的。这样才能确保言之有物。那么这样一个回答就可以满足以上四个题目。
I do believe the most important skill one should learn from school is computer science.
As the modern world is growing more and more digital, people are becoming increasingly reliant on computers. By using computers, students could communicate with each other by instant messaging. This facilitates their study by letting their teachers answer their questions and release up-to-date academic information efficiently.
Another reason is that by playing on-line computer games, sharing multi-media materials and blogging, students’passtime can be far more interesting and instructive than ever before. This skill enables them to get to know their peers better and learn how to work or play collaboratively. For example, by playing on-line games together, they not only know each other better, but also learn how to cooperate effectively.
Therefore, the most important skill to learn should be CS.

He is a very optimistic person who can always cheer me up when I was down. I still remembered once I failed my exam, and got criticized harshly by my parents. He is the one I went for help, by listening to him telling his humorous stories I gradually recovered my confidence in why study.
One day, I had a big fight with Tom, who I didn\'t get alone with all the time. By sharing Bob\'s funny jokes with Tom, we became good friends again. In each classmate’s reunion party, Bob\'s jokes always serve as glue to us, bringing us happiness.
Therefore, the sense of humor should be the most important quality a friend should have.
