Sports are effective in releasing the stress from study and cultivate students’ team spirit (cultivate: 培养，培育; team spirit: 团队精神). Having a glimpse of the current schooling (having a glimpse of: 一窥;纵览 …), we may easily be shocked by the amount of daily homework and countless examinations (countless ：数不清的). It is not difficult to imagine (It is not difficult to imagine: 不难想象 ) how much stress today’s students have to deal with everyday. At the same time, sports provide them with a perfect exit of stress (exit: 出口，也可指情感上的宣泄), which means that they could always feel relaxed after playing basketball or jogging for half an hour.
