3.详细解说

 

1.“room key”指“房间钥匙”，现在一般宾馆的“room key”都选用一种卡片，称作钥匙卡，英文叫“key card”。

2.英美关于楼层的表达方法不一致，需要注意。美国和我国的数法相同，英国把一楼称为“the ground floor”，二楼起分别称为“the first floor，the second floor...”。此外，“story”也可以表示“层”，但“floor”是把观点放在建筑物内部的说法，而“story”则是反映从外部看到的包含各层高度的空间，因而要说“…层建筑”的时候要使用“story”，对于这个词，英美的用法相同，例如：a building of 4 stories（一幢4层的建筑）。英式英语中把“story”拼写成“storey”。
