1. What suggestions do you have on food and location for your friend who wants to have a restaurant?
Well, personally I believe (自然进入话题) the food should be special, something that you cannot find easily in a city, so I would suggest my friend to open an Indian food restaurant (specific). Indian food is definitely (点原因)different from any other cuisines in the world in terms of both its ingredients and the way you eat it. Also(第二点原因), today there are tons of fast food restaurants, traditional Chinese restaurants, but rarely do people find an Indian food restaurant(亮点句型).
And when it comes to the location, I would recommend (自然过渡到location这一点)my friend to find a nice place in the downtown area, maybe near a public garden, easy to come and go but also quiet.
So generally speaking (重申、强调自己观点)I would suggest my friend open an Indian food restaurant near a public garden in downtown area.
2. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Students nowadays work harder in study than before.
I agree with the statement.
Firstly it's because today knowledge is much more valued than ever before. Students are clear that one should be equipped with knowledge in order to be an independent and useful member of the society.
Secondly, study used to mean learning theoretical knowledge only in the old days, but now students are expected to be good at their academic performance as well as in other fields such as sports or arts. So they have more tasks to fulfill.
And also since students are faced with a far more serious competition today than before, parents and teachers are putting much more pressure on them.
Generally speaking, students are working much harder than before because of the fierce competition as well as the higher demand and expectation from society.
