①Yes, new technology has been eating jobs forever, and always will.的确如此，新技术一直就在吞噬我们的工作，将来还会继续吞噬。
new Technology指“cheap foreign labor, cheap robotics, cheap software,cheap automation and cheap genius.
”这些东西。
这是两个句子，后面一个是：new technology has been eating jobs forever, and new technology always will eat jobs，就是将来还会的意思。
eat job就是吞噬工作的意思，就是取代工作的意思。
②But there’s been an acceleration.而且速度在加快。
accelerate vt. 加速；使加速。—— acceleration n. 加速
【逻辑梳理】这里是说，机器吞噬工作的速度在加快。
