1. 含义：

主要考察介词词组的固定搭配。

2. 用法：

积累常见的固定搭配：

(1) depend on取决于（19-03AS Q42）

(2) result in 导致（19-05NA Q4）

(3) be known for = be famous for 以...闻名 vs. be known as 作为...而闻名 （19-08NA Q15）

(4) the demands of sth做某事的要求 vs. the demands for sth要求某物（19-12AS Q34）

(5) corroborate with证实 vs. collaborate with合作（19-12AS Q39）

注：19-03AS Q42为2019年3月亚太真题第3题，下同。

例如：

At a time when interest in twentieth-century classic music seems on the verge of disappearing, the avant-grade compositions of the 1960s and 1970s manage to retain their popularity.（本句中的on the verge of是固定搭配，表示在...的边缘）
