12、Men have not more time to understand anything. They buy things already made at the shops. But there is no shop anywhere where one can buy friendship, and so men have no friends any more.

人是没有多余的时间去了解其它事情的。他们到商店购买现成的东西。但是世上却没有可以买到友情的商店，所以人不会再有朋友了。

13、It is your own fault, I never wished you any sort of harm; but you wanted me to tame you... but now you are going to cry! Then it has done you no good at all!

这是你的错，我根本无意伤害你，可是你却愿意让我驯服你……可是你现在却想哭！那驯服根本对你毫无好处！

14、It has done me good, because of the color of the wheat fields. Go and look again at the roses. You will understand now that yours is unique in all the world.

Because she is my rose.

你们虽然很美丽，但是却很空虚。没有人愿意为你们而死。或许，一般的路人，会认为我的玫瑰花——那一朵属于我的玫瑰花和你们是一样的。但她这一朵却比你们千万朵还要重要：因为我曾经亲自为她浇水；把她放置在玻璃罩下；把她置于屏风后面保护它；为她铲除一些毛毛虫（只留两三只蜕变成蝴蝶）；我倾听她的抱怨、自吹自擂甚至信口开河，哪怕她默默无语——只因为她是我的玫瑰花。

16、And now here is my secret, a very simple secret. It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eyes.
