题 (Task 1)— Personal Free Choice

1、 Event: Serving Community

如果问题涉及事件(Event) 的相关内容，我们可以联想到某段经历对个人成长起到的作用。

如此设计出来的理由可以辐射很多问题。请研读下面的内容：

Requiring high school students to participate in voluntary community service can help develop our sense of being responsible and improve our social and interpersonal skills.

First, serving the communities makes me care more for others rather than pay more attention to myself. For example, I spent quite a while with some primary students last year, helping them with their reading. In some ways I became responsible and patient to the young boys and girls. I realized their way of thinking and what they like or dislike. Therefore, I could comfort them when they were sad and encourage them when they felt sorrow.

Also, this experience shapes my personality. I became more open and social than before and I started to enjoy communicating with others. My interpersonal skills have been improved thanks to this activity.
