77.新生是和其它年级混住还是单独一个楼
I tend to agree that freshmen live with other grades, because it helps them fit in more quickly.
For one thing, it creates more opportunities for the freshmen to make friends with their seniors and gain more knowledge about college life, like information of some professors, school policies, or resources in surrounding area.
In addition, it‛s also important for the new students to find an example to follow, and these examples are often from the higher grade students. Living with them helps one to know the model student better.
So for these reasons, I think it‛s beneficial for the freshmen to live with other grades.
78.同意或不同意students will learn more when they have discussions
I will definitely agree to the statement that students will learn more when they have discussion. Take me as an example, I still remember clearly the spring of 2003 when SARS attacked our city, we students were not allowed to study in the classroom together, and has to go home learn separately by on-line courses. So I have no partners to discuss with, and I got the lowest average GPA that semester. I think that's all because I do not understand pretty well without discussion with my teacher or classmates.
79.Do you agree or disagree: ”The most important lesson can’t be learned in class.”
I agree to the statement that the most important lesson cannot be learned in class. The lesson we have learn on class is some basic knowledge. What we learn in the society is much more practical and important as well. For example, you will never learn how to deal with the relationship among co-workers in classroom, but it is crucial to manage this kind of relationship if you want to survive in the fierce competition in a company. And this kind of skill could only be taught in the society.
80.Should the university education be free?
To what extent to you agree or disagree with the following statement? "University education should be free for all students and fully financed by the government, regardless of each student's financial background." Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.
Apart from assistance regarding tuition fees being funded through taxation, many university students may need financial aid in other respects as well. It is easy to recognize that tuition is not the only worry that matters to students from moderate- and middle-income families, considering that the overall cost of education is often more than that concern. For instance, some students are likely to meet the impact of increasing textbooks prices and housing expenses, etc. Since scholarships and grants are never sufficient, it is also important to provide student loans and credit cards for the students in actual need and allow them to pay back the money gradually only after they ultimately begin to work with an income. It is expected that practices like these will help college students to tide over economic problems that might otherwise cause them to drop out before earning their valuable degrees for future careers. All this may explain how we can avoid losing, although partly, a generation of students who simply cannot afford to attend college, even though tuitions are entirely free.
