你回家的时候是选择hard sleeper（硬卧）还是hard seat（硬座），soft seat（软座），soft sleeper（软卧）呢？很多人会选择加开的temporary train，但有可能遇到temporary stop（临时停车）。“硬卧”和“软卧”还可以用hard-berth sleeper/soft-berth sleeper，或者semi-cushioned/ cushioned berths等来表示。如：There are four classes on the train: soft berth, hard sleeper, soft seat, hard seat. The prices are lowered accordingly.（火车分为软卧、硬卧、软座、硬座四个级别，票价依次递减）。

 

Temporary在这里表示“临时的”，此外它还可以用来表示“暂时的、瞬间的”，如：temporary failure（暂时失效）。春运期间针对客流增大的情况，出台了很多 temporary（or interim） provisions（暂行规定）。
