    1) Nothing will end a friendship faster than a dispute or fight over money. Lending greenbacks, borrowing bucks or talking too much about cash often leads to fights between friends.

    2) It is common to lend a friend ten or twenty bucks. However, a bigger loan may cause problems.

    Paying for the bill is always a touchy issue. This is especially confusing when you are dealing with someone from a different culture. Here are several different situations to help you figure out who is paying.

 

    付帐一直是一个敏感的话题。如果对方有着不同的文化，情况就更复杂了。下面的场景会告诉你究竟谁应该付帐。

 

    1) You are taking a girl out that you like. In this situation, you should be prepared to pay for the bill. Sometimes the girl will insist on paying for half. In this case you need to be careful. If she is very insistent, you should let her pay, but if she only suggest once or twice you should pay.

If you agree on who is going to pay for the bill before the meal, you can still offer to pay at the end, but you should only offer once or twice and let him pay if he insists.
