　　If you need to take a course, which professor’s course would you like to take?

　　1. a professor who was voted the most popular

　　2. a professor who has just won an award for an outstanding research

　　The first reason is simple.【短句作为中心句，可以让后面说理丰富】Although not everyone, most of the students are looking forward for in-depth learning when they choose the courses. Since the professor [留意高频词汇的替换] has won an award for his or her study in the field, the related information can be imparted to students in more details or in a more comprehensible way than those popular ones.【说理的时候就开始进行比较】For example, I have the experience of both kinds of teachers. 【例子也同时搭配比较】When I attended the course given byresearchers, I was always concentrated in class as the knowledge he told was those I desperate to know but hard to figure out and I even got an A after learning. Things were totally different when【可以用小短语进行逻辑串联】I enrolled the same class by another teacher who was the favorite one among other students. However, hardly can I [倒装句变化句式] get into the class due to the lack of suitable explanation for course-related information let alone more professional one.

　　Also, some opponents may argue that a popular teacher can successfully stimulate students’ interest in one course.【总是说理+举例的套路腻了，这边用一个小反驳论证进行变化】However, I strongly doubt this idea because the so-called popular is voted and agreed by most students not every single one. Like in many institutes, the most welcomed tutor is usually the one either has adorable personalities or is good at activating class【抽象信息变具体能找到逻辑突破点】. The former is definitely varied among different students, so is the latter. One popular teacher by most students is possibly never your type as his style in class may becliché [巧用一些词汇] for you not to mention the following interest in this subject.

　　As a matter of fact,【用段和段进行对比，再次让文章结构多元化】it is in the class by the fellow in research that [用强调句表达观点] one would never feel bored or tired as expertise can be combined with their own features. Isn’t an academic-oriented teacher more popular? [反问] Many more cases have showed that in university, college students are more prone to distinguished researchers, they are usually not the nice ones in daily lives and some of them are even the geek, but theirobsession in study is so attractive 【把win a prize这个具体信息变抽象总结】to learners that the classroom is often filled with countless students.

　　As mentioned, I am in favor of the professor who are the winner in outstanding research as I can not only learn more deeply but also be influenced by his or her sprit in study.
