　　As she stood clutching her drink in the cocktail lounge next to the airplane cockpit,Celeste was no longer cognitive of her actions.She was so drunk now that she was convinced the hands of the clock weren't spinning clockwise anymore!And the men looking at her with certainly impure thoughts didn't offend her as they would have before this last week.
　　Despite her drunkenness, however,she did know for sure that it was no coincidence that her husband and that Marilyn Monroe clone had stepped out of that closet together.And no one could coax her anymore into believing that they were just clowning around.Now it was obvious that Celeste's view of her marriage had just collided with reality.Her husband was having an affair!
　　All of his attempts at a coherent explanation still clogged her mind.First he said that that was the only place where they could have a private collaboration about an upcoming coalition meeting to disarm cluster bombs in Iraq.Hah!That was ridiculous.She had almost thrown her coconut flavored drink in his face.And his friends didn't tell the truth,either;they were all in collaboration together!
　　Then he said that someone slipped some cocaine into his food and he couldn't control himself.Well,that wasn't a cohesive argument,either.Now she had set up a meeting where he could just “coincide” with her lawyer about the whole thing.But she wasn't interested in him anymore,he could die tomorrow of colon cancer for all she cared!

　　然后他说有人在他的食物中悄悄放了可卡因，所以他无法控制自己。这一说法也没有粘聚力。现在她安排了一次见面，他将与她的律师同时出现讲清楚整个事情。不过她已经不再对他感兴趣，他可以明天就死于结肠癌，她才不管呢!
