　　I recently decided to try and deal with pressure. Students across the world will head to class in the next few days! One thing we need to realize is that the education system in western countries is very different. The state secondary schools are all integrated and calledcomprehensive schools. How we spend our days is how we spend our lives. There’s a fundamental trade off between productivity and responsiveness; getting serious work done means minimizing meaningless things. Being responsive means reacting anytime something comes up. These two principles are fundamentally in tension. Recognizing this tension allows us to decide where we want to strike that balance. The obvious solution is to try and minimize this.

　　No one’s getting through adulthood without going through their 20s first. We should have some urgency, because enormous pressure comes in your later life. Many of these things areincompatible. Forget the identity crisis and get identity capital, do something that adds value to who you are. Do something as an investment in who you might want to be next. Don’t let that defining decade pass you by. Enjoy it. That is what people told me, so I decided to take up this advice .
