  「Task 1

  Understanding & Grouping

  混合图形分开描述不具有什么特殊难度,但两图之间的关系一定要提,也即是说:不要割裂两幅图之间的联系。分组按「城市」的话,各位一眼瞄,就不具备任何难度了吧?试看写作范文。

  Rephrase + Overview

The lines illustrate the averages of monthly temperatures in London, New York and Sydney, and the table shows those of total annual hours of sunshine in the three cities. à 注意断句,标点的使用。Overall, Sydney has opposite seasons and London has shorter hours of sunlight.

  「Main Body」

<反正小作文主体段落加起来也没多少字,索性“猛地一顿”把整体的样态描出来> Compared with Sydney, which has a reverse curve, London and New York have similar curves of temperatures. <后面就是较为机械的数据填充=即使“机械”,也不能> Highly similar to each other <信息间的逻辑关系>, <仔细读读这句话里的平行分别是什么成分与什么成分之间的平行> London and New York have temperatures below 20 degrees in January, February, March, April, October, November, and December respectively and their warmer monthsduring May to September. In both cities, July is the warmest month when the temperatures reach 25 degrees in London and nearly 30 degrees in New York, and January and December witness the lowest temperatures– roughly 10 and 5 degrees respectively. <信息间的逻辑关系> Conversely, Sydney’s temperatures reach the peak (25 degrees) in December, January, February and part of March and the bottom (15 degrees) in July.

As shown in the table, <指示代词的使用要精确> the hours of sunshine in London are roughly half of those in New York and those in Sydney, roughly 1,200 hours versus 2,500 hours.

  「Task 2

Some people claim that public museums and art galleries will not be needed because people can see historical objects and works of art by using a computer. Do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Living in an era in which cutting-edge technologies are advancing at an alarming rate, some deem the brick-and-mortar museums are no longer indispensable to human beings. I personally tend to regard the viewpreposterous.

It makes proper sense that physical museums impress visitors with a sense of reality and history, which is absent online. To clarify, <此处出现了对比结构-注意句子内里的形容词使用,使得信息填充饱满> compared with the not-so-reliable introductions and monotonous pictures presented on screens, the authoritative information and specially-decorated venue in physical museums can help museum-goers <注意此处的平行结构> have a glimpse into culture, widen their scope of knowledge, and activate their imagination. In this sense, such institutes play an irreplaceable role in that they are of much educational significance.

In addition, such institutes help preserve the ancient civilization. Specifically, as a profitable organization, the museum usually charges its patrons for admission fees. Naturally, the collected revenues can be utilized in various domains such as <注意此处的平行结构> therefurbishment of venues, the collection of new exhibits, and theimprovement of services. It thus follows that <注意此处的前指关系> this lays a firm foundation for the sound operation of the whole museum in which ancient civilization can be preserved and witnessed.

<稍稍让步一下=让步的后置情况也需了解> Doubtlessly, browsing the showcased artworks online can offer much convenience by saving people’s time and energy which should have been wasted in commuting and queuing. <行文结构:让步段如果放在主体段后,那么对方的合理之处写完之后一定要diss一下,将观点重申到我们自身的写作立场上> However, hardly can such mode get people immersed into the atmosphere, so they are less likely to appreciate art and history genuinely, which is exactly what the physical museums and galleries can compensate for.

In light of the above, these institutes are of much educational significance and still play an indispensable part in human history, despite the merits generated by cutting-edge technology.更多雅思考试干货敬请关注新航道雅思考试频道
