The bar chart presents information about the proportions of 16-to-25-year-old men watching and participating in 6 types of sports.

It is clear that more males preferred to engage in basketball, tennis and fishing rather than just watch these sports, while the figures for other 3 sports showed a different pattern. The smallest gap between the two groups of people could be found in basketball.

【Body 1】

Looking at the information in more detail, we can see that in terms of football, the proportion of male spectators(69%) was more than three times as large as the figure for male participants. A similar gap between these two groups of people could be found in rugby and horse riding and racing, where the figures for male viewers ranked the second(45%) and third place (30%) respectively.

【Body 2】

In the other three types of sports, there were more players. This is especially true for fishing, where the percentage of participants was the largest(35%), while merely 2% of the surveyed males preferred watching this activity. Tennis was chosen by roughly 10% of the participants, roughly 5 times the figure for spectators. However, the two types of people shared a similar figure in basketball, with approximately 20%.
