　　More and more people choose to work at home and students study from home as the development of computer technology makes it more convenient and cheaper. Do you think it a positive or negative development?

　　上面的四个题目讨论的是同一个话题--对比远程教育和传统的面授，虽然出题方式有所不同。其中第二道题根本没有提及远程，而第四道题没有提及面授;第三道题指的是children，道题指college students。另外第四道题给出了远程教育的论点—convenient and cheaper.

　　远程教育通常用于函授，自考等成人教育，是大学充分利用其资源，以满足继续教育需求的方式，基本上不用于未成年人的教育。当然现代的中小学校也会利用电脑和网络来提高教育的质量，或者应对一些突发事件或恶劣天气，但是这与成年人的网络教育是有本质区别的。中小学生还是以学校学习为主，因为他们需要培养集体意识和社会生活的能力，学校恰恰提供了这样的环境，这是远程教育无法代替的。成年人在就业后由于知识更新的加快而面临继续学习或者说是终身学习的选择，学习是对工作的充电。另外成年人有自学，自控和自我管理的能力，因此适合远程教育。
