Depicted in the flow chart are the procedure of recycling wasted plastic bottles and how they are used in the production of new items. Overall, the process is moderately complex, involving a number of steps.

First, wasted plastic bottles are collected in recycling bins before they are transported to a recycling center, where they are manually operated. During this procedure, the non-recyclable part, such as the label on the bottle, will be removed, while the rest will be compressed into blocks. The next step is to crush the blocks into pieces, after which the pieces will be immersed in the liquid so that the impurities contained can be removed.

Before the production starts, the clean pieces are processed into plastic pellets. As long as these pellets are gathered in a pile, they will be heated to form raw materials. Finally, these materials will be reshaped into various end products, ranging from bottles, boxes and pencils to clothes and bags. When these products are discarded, the cycle will start anew.
