Five people in Chenzhou city in Hunan Province face charges of the illegal trading of a kidney from a teenager who bought an iPhone and an iPad with the earnings, Xinhua reported. The five have been charged with causing intentional injury.
据新华社报道，“少年卖肾”案５名涉案人在湖南省郴州市被以非法买卖人体器官提起公诉，该名少年用卖肾换来的钱买了苹果iPhone手机和iPad平板电脑。5人涉嫌故意伤害罪。
Defendant He Wei, who was penniless and frustrated over gambling debts, sought to make enormous earnings through illegal kidney trading. He asked Yin Shen to look for donors through online chat rooms and Tang Shimin to lease an operating room from Su Kaizong, the contractor of a local hospital's urology department.
被告人何伟因赌博欠债穷途潦倒，遂企图通过非法肾移植牟取暴利，便邀被告人尹申为其上网寻找非法移植的肾源。何伟又通过被告人唐世民找到某医院男性泌尿科承包人苏开宗为其提供移植手术便利。
Song Zhongyu, a surgeon from a hospital in Yunnan Province, conducted the kidney transplant from a 17-year-old high school student, surnamed Wang, to a recipient in April last year. He received about 220,000 yuan for the activity and gave Wang 22,000 yuan.
去年4月，云南省某医院医生宋忠于为17岁高中生王某做了人体活体肾脏移植手术。他从中获利约22万元，支付给王某2.2万元。
Wang now suffers from renal insufficiency and his condition is deteriorating.
目前，被害人王某身体状况越来越差，检查结果为肾功能不全。
