最近，有同学问了这样一道题“Describe a popular place for sports (e.g. a stadium) that you’ve been to”。我是一个超级足球粉，我最喜欢的球队就是曼联了。去曼联踢球一直是我的梦想。很小的时候，我一直希望我的父母能带我去她们的足球场。在我13岁时，这个梦想终于得以实现！去到那里的感受如何？咱们一起来聊一聊吧！
尽管我们没有观看现场比赛，但是去到曼联的足球场时我还是很激动。因为我在整个童年时代一直期待着这一刻，这个足球场不愧被称为“The Theatre of Dreams”。

I’ve always been a massive fan of football and it had been a dream of mine to visit the home ground of my favourite team – Manchester United. Their stadium is called Old Trafford and is the largest club football stadium in the United Kingdom with a capacity of around 74,000.
After years of bugging my parents to take me there, I eventually got the chance to do so when I was 13 years old. I remember distinctly when my mother broke the news to me that we’d be going there in the summer of 2001. Initially, I was disappointed because there are no competitive football matches played during the summer. Regardless, just setting my eyes on the place in person would be enough to satisfy my desire.
Even though we didn’t get to watch a live game, Old Trafford is world-famous and there's plenty to do when you visit. We took a behind the scenes stadium tour, got a delicious bite to eat at the ‘Red Cafe’ and picked up some souvenirs at the ‘Megastore’.
It’s hard to describe my exact emotions as I walked in the footsteps of greatness onto the field which I had spent countless hours watching on TV during my whole childhood. Old Trafford is also known as ‘The Theatre of Dreams’ and it’s really an apt moniker.
