2022年8月一共有3场托福考试，包含科技、业余生活、日常生活三类常考话题。
本月的考试中，2次是旧题复用，所以，准备参加考试的同学应该认真回顾最近三年的托福独立任务话题，做到有备无患。
8月所有话题中，难度最大的是一道科技与人际沟通的观点类话题，这也是一道从来没有出现过的新题。但是，科技类话题一直是ETS在独立任务中的考察重点，大家在备考过程中应该对既往考过的这一类话题归类梳理，从正反两方面思考科技的发展和进步对我们的生活的影响，再在具体的话题中根据题目的限定，代入观点，具体发展。

Personally speaking, I don’t think the statement is reasonable. Because technology can be used to bring people together. Many report that use of social media platforms, texting, and other apps allows them to stay connected to peers they know in real life. It also can foster the development of friendships with peers around the world who have shared interests and goals. Also, people who often struggle with engaging in social interactions in person may find that online communities and social media platforms allow them to practice social skills and gain confidence with social communication in a more comfortable way.

I guess I’d like to hit the gym everyday as a routine, because it has so many benefits, mentally and physically. Firstly, it enables me to relax after a whole day of busy study. As a first year student in the university, I’ve got loads of classes to take and piles of assignments to deal with, I just really have to do something in order to take a break from all that and relieve the stress from my academic course work. Doing daily workouts in the gym is one of my go-to choices. Besides, since I spend most of my time sitting in a classroom or in front of a computer screen, it’s necessary to move around and sweat a bit just to get my body activated. That’s pretty much why I go to gym on a daily basis.

For me, I’d probably choose the cheaper one, although it’s a bit far from school. I don’t really have to live close to school, because I don’t go on campus often as a senior student since I’ve already finished all the courses that I have to take for credits. I might have to meet my professor or adviser at school once in a while, but living a bit further isn’t really a problem. Also, I’d take the cheaper one because I’d love to save some money for later use. I’m going to further my study for a master’s degree in New York, and as it’s known to us all that it’s one of the most expensive places to live. Let alone the tuition, I’ll still have to spend money on housing, gas, food and so forth.
