1.数字考点
数字一般不会无缘无故的出现，如果在题目中出现了数字，那么它就可能是一个关于数字的考察。
示例：Between 1983 and 1990 the number of patients visiting alternative therapists rose to include a further 8% of the population.
如果原文中相对于提出的数字是8%那就是对的，反之则错，若文中未提到则是not given。
2.否定考点
示例：Little doubt was expressed about the reason for the Bishops Walk accident.
“Little doubt”表示几乎没有怀疑，如果原文中表示有怀疑，则与题干形成了矛盾关系，即false，如果确实显示没有怀疑，则为true，如果没有提到是否怀疑，则是not given。
常见的表示否定意义的词语：little，few，reject，not，dis-，un-，limit，restrict，rather than……
3.幅度考点（adv.+v.，adj.+n.）
示例：Bakelite was immediately welcomed as a practical and versatile material.
There is plenty of scientific evidence to support photoperiodism.
4.比较，比较级，最考点
示例：In 1995，AI was at its lowest point.
Research into agent technology was more costly than research into neural network.
In the follow-up class，the teaching activities are similar to those used in conventional classes.
5.词考点
词相信大家一定特别熟悉和敏感，话说太满往往会有问题。但是请大家注意，不要一概而论认为词全部是错的描述，大家要区分词的位置及具体情况。
常见的词：only，always，must，all，every，guarantee……
6.因果考点
示例：Sediment in the irrigation canals on the Niledelta causes flooding.
7.目的考点
这一部分大家要注意区分原因或结果的替换导致的错误与not given的区别。
示例：The Aswan dams were built to increase the fertility of the Niledelta.
8.趋势考点
常见的表示趋势的词语有：increase，decrease，develop，rise，，decline，fade……
示例：The number of starving people in the world has increased in recent years.
The spread of tourism in certain hill-regions has resulted in a fall in the amount of food produced locally.
9.条件考点
示例：If a signal from outer space is received，it will be important to respond promptly.
10.客观事实（谓语动词考点）
示例：So far SETI scientists have picked up radio signals from several starts.
