1 Don't copy the question for your introduction. You should paraphrase thequestion (i.e. rewrite it using some different words).
不要把问题照搬照抄放在你的引言当中，要用不同的单词重新把问题改写一遍。
2 Don't forget to separate your paragraphs clearly.
别忘了清晰地分开每一个段落。
3 Don't forget to write a good summary/overview of the information. A quickone-sentence conclusion is not good enough. I prefer to put the overviewstraight after the introduction, and I try to write 2 sentences describing theinformation in general. You won't get a high score if you don't write a goodoverview.
不要忘了将所得的信息地总结/概述一次。一句话的结论并不够好，一般来说，我更倾向于把概述后直接放在引言后面，并用两句话来描述信息。如果没有一个好的概述，就不会得到一个好的分数。
4 Don't describe items separately . You should always try to compare thingsif it is possible to do so. Instead of describing 2 lines separately, comparethe 2 lines at key points.
不要单独地描述一个点，如果有可能的话，尝试去做一些对比。同样是两个句子，将它们的关键点进行比较说明，好过单独地进行描述。
5 Don't try to describe every number on a chart or graph (unless there areonly a few numbers). A key skill in task 1 is being able to choose the keyinformation and describe or compare it well. I usually mention around 6 or 7numbers in my main paragraphs.
不要用图表或图形来描述每一个数字(除非只有几个数字)。在task1中，有一个关键的技巧就是，选择关键的信息，并地去描述它或者进行对比。我通常都会在一个主要段落中，提及6~7个数字。
6 Don't spend longer than 20 minutes on task 1. Practise spending 5 minuteson each of your 4 paragraphs. Stop yourself after 20 minutes; remember that task2 is worth more marks.
Task 1所花的答题时间不该超过20分钟，好好练习怎样花5分钟的时间在每一个段落上，一共4个段落，则一共不超过20分钟，一到时间就停止做题。记住task2能拿的分数更高。
7 It is better to write in regular, not very sophisticated English, than touse phrases or structures you don’t fully understand.
比起用一些你自己都不是完全理解的短语和结构，不如用一些不是很复杂的、比较日常的英语。
8 If you need Band 6 - no need for complex sentence structure. If your goalis Band 7 - then show advanced sentence structure, language and vocabulary.
如果你的目标使6分，那就用一些不是很复杂的句子结构，但如果你想哪7分，那就用一些的句子结构、语言和词汇。
9 Don’t write more than 260-265 words in IELTS Writing 2 task. Why? Notbecause you will get lower mark, but because of these 2 reasons:1) It takes moretime2) More words = more mistakes在雅思task 2写作中，写作字数不要超过260-265个字。为什么?因为你写作分数低的原因不外乎以下两个：1)花的时间(时间不够用)2)字数越多，错误越多
10 If you are told to cover specific points in your essay/letter - coverevery point, examiners actually countthem.如果文章要求你在文章中要具体地包含某些点，那就一一例举出来，因为考官会去数。
11 Don’t overuse connecting words (like However, Furthermore, Moreover,etc) - examiners are watching for you to dothat.不要过多使用连接词(例如，但是，此外，等)，考官就等看着你这么做，然后扣分!
