I strongly believe that it is parents’ duty to control how their children save and spend their money, and there are couple of reasons.
Firstly, children are lack of self control and easily be allured and misled. As the news reported, many underaged children are addicted to internet and keen on rewarding hosts. Some of them even reward more than thousands of dollars to their favorite hosts, which is definitely a huge financial burden for their family. I do believe that these ridiculous things can be avoided if their parents control them in time.
Secondly, learning how to save and spend money is a basic skill that every one should have since they were young. There is no doubt that parents are the best teachers for their kids, because they are familiar enough with their children and can figure out the most useful way.
