让步：是议论文的关键技巧。为什么呢?显得公平。还能凑字。
The exponentially developing cities may be so attractive that many people migrate there. 句子“减肥”，减去句子里的赘述。→ The exponentially developing cities may attract many migrants. This may seem fine. ← 暗示让步。However, this may also lead to regional imbalance between those cities and non-urban areas. 立即举例映证。→ This is taking place in China, where large cities have population spill and the hometowns of those migrant dwellers are leftvacant. 然后再回到道理，做段落总结。→ It is certainly undesirable. 举例映证为什么undesirable。→ The country’s cities are densely populated, suffering overexploitation of resources, and the countryside is desolate, its resourcesbarely utilized.
接下来，论证positive。
先总写一句，突于让步。As a matter of fact, the upside of urbanization isprominent. 然后，段落中心句：总结性的陈述(很有可能是主观的)。→ Population growth, one of the most important characteristics of the development of cities,← 为什么需要这个同位语，因为同位语里的信息回应了题目。creates the increased need, particularly for the service industry, which is the largest employer of a developed society. 由于前一句表述有些复杂，后面加一句来更直白的说清楚。称之为(必要的段落)“肥肉”。→ To put it in a simple way, the development of cities promotes employment. 当道理讲清楚的时候，用例子进行进一步论证。举例的两个关键原则：要么道理没说到最清楚明白，读者还会有疑惑;要么段落篇幅不够。→ (此处例子略)。
然后，第二个理由。
段落中心句：总结性的陈述(很有可能是主观的，并且最传统的方式是：没有细节的笼统的)。→ The development of cities raises the level of civilization of society. 在段落中心句之后要用客观事实去支撑论证。→ Everything in cities runs in an orderly fashion. With the development of cities, urban residents’ awareness of order and accordingly orderly behavior will have influence spreading to small towns and the countryside. As a result, a society becomes more civil. 当道理讲清楚的时候，用例子进行进一步论证。可以是(编)个人经历。→ I am personally witnessing this change and the improvement. In the small town where I live, people, under the influence of the urban lifestyle, are now changing their behavior. They no longer litter or jump the queue, or abuse the car horn.
