The diagram shown shows the actions needed for recycling plastic bottles. It seems that there are nine distinct stages, which I will describe below.
The first stage of the recycling process is placing the plastic bottles in the correct bins once youve finished using them at home. The second and third steps seem to be collecting the bottles by a recycling truck that then takes them to a recycling centre to be sorted into recyclable and nonrecyclable ones.
Stages 4, 5 and 6 refer to the recyclable ones being compressed into cubic blocks then crushed and washed. From here, the crushed material is placed into a machine that produces pellets.
The final stages include the heating of the pellets back into raw material that is then packaged. This raw material is used to recreate different products such as pens, bottles or other containers, which completes the circle.
From here, the whole process starts again. (154 words)
