很多小伙伴对雅思阅读中的长句感到“头疼”，其实大可不必，首先需知英语句子以长句为特点，正如中文以短句为特色，此外，可以从逻辑上理清思路，今天来教你一招就能迅速get比较关系长句!
首先我们来看两个句子——同样都出自C12 The Benefits of Being Bilingual:
e.g.
When the colour and the word match (i.e., the word ‘red’ printed in red), people correctly name the colour more quickly than when the colour and the word don’t match (i.e., the word ‘red’ printed in blue).
首先，你可以圈出表示比较关系的关键词——more quickly than，A比B更快。
然后，问自己——A是什么?B是什么?
最后，理解句意就好啦：
当颜色和单词匹配时(即“红色”字印成红色)，人们正确命名颜色的速度要比颜色和单词不匹配时(即“红色”字印成蓝色)更快。
e.g.
for example, when bilinguals have to switch from categorizing objects by colour (red or green) to categorizing them by shape (circle or triangle), they do so more quickly than monolingual people, reflecting better cognitive control when having to make rapid changes of strategy.
同样地，首先圈出关键词：A more quickly than B。
A和B分别指什么?文中指的是：bilinguals(文中是代词they, 代词代指名词，所以往前看，代指的是bilinguals)比monolingual people更快。
理清思路后，理解句意即可：
例如，当双语者必须从按颜色(红色或绿色)分类对象转换为按形状(圆形或三角形)分类时，他们比单语者更快，这反映了在必须快速改变策略时更好的认知控制。

简单来说，比较关系，顾名思义就是拿A和B作比较，所谓“有比较才有鉴别”，就是这个意思。
