Personally speaking, the foreign country that I want to visit and work in for a period is the Maldives, which is one of the most fascinating travelling destinations for many back-packers. The Maldives consists of 1,192 coral islands, along the north-south direction, spread over roughly 90,000 square kilometers, making this one of the world's most dispersed countries. The country is full of white sandy beaches along its coastline, and it won the prestigious position of the Indian Ocean’s Leading Destination of the Annual World Travel Awards. If I had a chance, I’d like to take a tour around the Maldives. The Maldives has a tropical climate with warm temperatures year round and a great deal of sunshine. The weather is determined largely by the monsoon seasons.
The country has developed a high standard of living and established a comprehensive system of social security, which is a unique part of the world. The Maldives is known for its volunteers’ projects for many years. These volunteering projects are aimed at conserving the natural environment of the island and promoting social upliftment and cultural exchange in the Maldives.It would be an unforgettable experience for volunteering there, with friendly people, miles of sandy beaches and beautiful coral reefs. People can join for between 2 and 12 weeks and the projects have places available all year round.
