The sport I prefer to practice and also be a little bit expensive is tennis, which has become increasingly popular in China, especially after Li Na won the women’s singles at the French Open 2011 and Australian Open 2014.
The problem is in China, the gap between watching tennis and learning tennis still cannot fulflll. There are not many professional coaches teaching tennis amateurs. As a result, the tennis courses are usually expensive, about 30 pounds per hour. ■ On the other hand, tennis rackets, balls, and even shoes are required for training purposes and self-protection, which cost at least 200 pounds together.
At least once a week, I would play tennis with my uncle who took tennis courses before. He is a crazy fan of tennis, and he went to see Shanghai ATP tournament every year since 2010. To me, tennis is difficult to play well since it bases on massive energy, enough skills, and strong muscles. I think tennis is a perfect sport to do for improving muscle tone, strength, and flexibility, increasing our reaction times, lowering the blood pressure and body fat. Also it is an excellent game for hanging out with friends or families by adding competitions. Ifs fun when you feel you are actually good at it.
