She helped me a lot in forming learning habits, and I should attribute my interest in learning English to her encouragement I still remembered that when 1 was a child, my mother told me that English was very essential whatever I want to be in the future, so in my first English class, I listened to the teacher very carefully. Amy noticed that I was very concentrated, so she asked me to answer her question in class. At first, I was very nervous because I was not confident to speak English out and afraid of being made fun of by my classmates. But she encouraged me to speak loudly, and praised my courage. After class, she told me that my pronunciation was very good, and asked me whether I wanted to be the English host for the upcoming English Recitation Contest. At that moment，1 felt very proud of myself, and meanwhile, I was more strict with myself in learning English because I didn't want to disappoint hen Also, she gave me some helpful advice on pronunciation and hosting skill, and the contest turned out to be a success.
