雅思口语Part2话题范文：Describe an occasion where everybody smiled.
It is about my pet dog, Max.
Most of the time, having a pet at home brings much joy and fun. However much we are annoyed or depressed, its barking and spinning and jumping of rapture to see us will always miraculously uproot our lives and make it so much better. However, in the same way that every dog has its day, every dog also has its darkness.
During the Labor Day Holiday, we were visited by 2 friends of my father’s when he was serving in the army. As a grown up boy, I sat aside and worshiped all their manly deeds and heroic actions. Their descriptions were so vivid and intriguing and even Max was much attracted. But as we always say, each creature has its nemesis. The power of their stories obviously went powerless when the more powerful temptation was brought to table--food.
Max literally jumped up from the floor and began to walk hastily around the table, wishing to get a treat. But according to Chinese TRADITION, a dog shall never be the one to make the first bite. Then Max groaned, hard and like a baby begging for a candy. My father and his friends were still occupied with their reminiscence of the old good time in a younger age. I was all ears and mom was still working in the kitchen. And Max’s trick was totally ignored. Then Max barked and stood up and had its front paws on my father’s lap. It was still of no use, which seemed to be the last straw.
Possibly disappointed and pissed off, Max walked away from the dining table and towards the sofa, a perfect view of which could be seen from where we were seated. And Max peed. Right in front of our eyes, Max peed.
Before it did that, my father was talking to one friend while the other was having the wine glass in his mouth. I was trying to get some food with my chopsticks. And when we saw Max did that, the talk went silent all of a sudden and my chopsticks got frozen up above the dish. What was more dramatic, the friend who was drinking had wine burst out of his mouth and sprayed over the table.
All of us got turned to statues for 2 seconds and then the laugh bomb exploded.
