When it comes to museums, today I plan to introduce Ghost Museum without any hesitation. I visited this museum two months ago and it is located in the UNESCO World Heritage core zone of George Town, Penang Island, Malaysia. Ghost Museum is an oddball novelty museum that is different enough to attract tourists looking for an alternative experience. The museum features exhibits from Malay, Egyptian, Japanese, American and Chinese folklore. It is not so big, and it only has two floors. Frankly speaking, the ticket is not that expensive, which only costs you 5 US dollars and you can stay in as long as you dare. The guide and staffs working in this museum are really enthusiastic. They will talk a tale or interpret the history of the ghosts, and it is possible for you to wear some costume for photograph. The staffs are always ready to help you take photos and how to take one with funny pose. Ghost museum is much different from Haunted House in China, so you do not need to worry at all about the pranks. At the exit of the museum, there is a tiny souvenir shop where you can buy various gadgets designed with different ghosts which are really hilarious and unique, such as mummy cup, skeleton-shaped ashtray, Jack-O-Lantern and so on. More importantly, the price is acceptable, too. All in all, Ghost Museum is certainly a wonderful place for young couples and family groups to visit and I am sure that you can get more than just surprise and happiness.
