When it comes to a historical period Pm interested in, I want to talk about Qin Dynasty in China, which was the first imperial dynasty of China, lasting from 221 to 206 BC. The dynasty was formed after the conquest of six other states by the state of Qin, and its founding emperor was known as Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of Qin.
I first heard this historical period from my history textbook in my high school time, but I had an interest in it mainly due to an educational visit I made to the Terra-Cotta Warriors outside Xi’an city, which is a sensational tourist attraction in China.
I visited the place two years ago with my parents. I learned a lot about the Emperor Qin Shi Huang, and why he decided to duplicate his army. Before he passed away, this emperor decided to be buried with a whole army of soldiers in his afterlife, to protect himself. Also, it could make sure that he would have people to rule over. Attracted by the spectacular remains of Qin Dynasty, I’d like to explore more about it in the future.
