I really enjoy talking with my grandpa because he’s very knowledgeable and we could always find common topics to talk about. Now he's in his seventies. As a great learner, he has accumulated a lot of knowledge and rich life experience.
When we are together, I love listening to his life stories. To be honest, I really want to write a biography for him when I have the time because his life is full of excitement, very different from many other old people around me.
Through his life experience, I could learn the meaning of life and the significance of knowledge.
Because of him, I'm interested in history since I was a little child. We could find many history topics to talk about, and it's amazing how clearly he could remember all the important events in the past And he could always recommend good books for me to read to increase my history knowledge. After reading the books, I would always have the desire to talk with him to express my feelings toward a certain period of history and I’m always enlightened when I hear his point of view.
I think I’m lucky to have such a grandpa. When we talk with the old, we could learn a lot from them. I hope I can be as wise as he is when I'm his age。
