There are numerous happy events recently in my life that I can recall and among those， I would like to talk about a journey in Hong Kong. It happened in last month, my friends with me went to Vitoria Peak, which is a mountain in the western half of Hong Kong Island. It is the highest mountain on the island, with an elevation of 552 m. The highlight of the trip is the overview of whole city. When the taxi scrambled in the mountain road,through the window, we can find the high-rise buildings at the foot of the mount surrounded by the gloiy of the sunset. It looks absolutely fabulous.
Then we arrived the destination, the peak tower, a well-known viewpoint for visitors to appreciate the night scene of Vitoria Harbor. The number of visitors led to the construction of two major leisure and shopping centers. And the viewpoint shelter was built on the top floor of the shopping center. Arriving at the summit of the mount, I used the coin-operated telescopes on the viewing decks to enjoy the cityscape. The scene was so breathtaking even in the daytime. I felt so happy to record the changes of the sky and constructions as time passed by. Eveiy night around eight o’clock in the evening, there was a big lighting ceremony of the buildings near the harbor. It was my luck to witness the moment by leaning forward my body on the railings. I had never seen the night scene in that high altitude and counted the time to observe the lighting show. That made me feel so delighted.
