1、Did you save money when you were young?
Yes, I remembered I did that when I was in the high school. I had saved money for half a year to buy a CD player. I cut off all the unnecessary expenses and eat as little as possible.
2、Have you ever given money to other children?
Yes, I did that once. It was about a year ago. When I was in the subway, a kid, who was around ten years old, begged me for money. I suspected that he was a professional beggar, so I tried to ignore him at first. But he did not leave, so I gave him 10 yuan at last.
3、Do you think parents should teach children to save money?
Yes, I do think so. Saving money is a useful life skill. Eventually, children will grow up and need to support themselves. They need to know how to save money from the very beginning.
4、Do parents give children pocket money in China?
Yes, and it is becoming increasingly popular. This is probably because people are getting richer and have more spare money. So they are willing and able to give some money to children’s disposal.
