I am a big fan of Dr. Jordan Peterson who is a Canadian psychologist, YouTube personality, author, and a professor at the University of Toronto. He began to receive widespread attention in the late 2010s for his views on cultural and political issues . I started to follow him on YouTube in 2016.
He offers solid and pertinent information supported by research and academic information on the human condition. He also addresses the life problems and dilemmas that all of us face, so there is a universal interest for his books and lectures.
His background is academically impeccable, while at the same time, his lectures and talks, most of them now on YouTube are easy to understand, engaging, and very well delivered.
The reason I love him is because he is not just like a boring college professor as he is able to genuinely connect with people by sharing many details about his life and by telling compelling stories.
Furthermore, he also gives tools for self discovery, assessment and life planning. He is very pragmatic when it comes to teaching because he believes that learning should be the easiest path to happiness. Ever since I started to follow him, I have acquired so much knowledge on philosophy religion and psychology.
