雅思大作文:女性是否应该参军?

表明反对女性参军的观点有两个

1因为体能的局限性,女性不适合参军。

There is no denying that (不可否认的是…) females are physically weaker than their male counterparts (相对应的人).

In an actual war, for example, it is females' physiological (生理的) limitations that might make it difficult for them to accomplish certain missions or tasks on the battlefield, which will probably jeopardize (危及) their safety and even cause heavy casualties of the whole troop.

From this perspective, it seems that being a soldier is a highly risky and physically demanding career choice, which is more suitable for males, while jobs like teachers and nurses are considered more feminine.

2女性需要完成她的家庭角色,生育和抚养孩子,这会影响她们的军人生涯。

Females have maternal (母性的) roles to fulfill, that is to say, giving birth to a child, which is likely to affect their career development as a soldier and the like(等等).

 

表明同意女性参军的观点也有两个

1男女平等,所以女性也有参军的权利。

There is a growing consensus that (越来越多的共识认为…) females are supposed to enjoy full equality with males, which suggests that women are also entitled to join the army and serve their country.

2军队里有的岗位更适合女性,因为女性相对于男性来说,更耐心,细心,体贴周到。

It is perfectly reasonable for women to enlist as a soldier, as some jobs in the army can be better suited to females.

A good case in point (一个很好的例子) is that in the field hospitals, female doctors and nurses may take better care of the wounded (伤员,特指伤兵) and have a greater understanding of what their fellow soldiers are suffering from, because they are more patient, caring and considerate compared with males.

With their spiritual comfort and emotional support, some of the servicemen may recover from their injuries in no time (很快).
