Looking at the information in more detail, we can see that the percentage of people living with their marital partners witnessed a remarkable drop from 61% in 1970 to 41% in 2003. In both years, roughly 20% of children lived with one of their parents, with 10% of them living with their fathers, and the rest 10% were raised by their mothers. Likewise, a period of steadiness could also be found in the percentage of people who lived with other relatives, with the figure of approximately 13%.
