　　This was to be the first authoritative ballet about the history of female aviation since this autonomous region of Bulgaria had been formed. It was based on the autobiography of Amelia Earhardt that had recently been found on an island in the Pacific Ocean.

　　The whole world had been baffled to finally learn where her plane had crashed and what had happened up until her death on the deserted island. They were in awe that she had availed herself of the island's resources so well that she had lived to the ripe age of 80. It had only taken two months to authorize the autobiography, and now, three months later, the ballet was about to start.

　　As the bald announcer asked for quiet from the audience, the most eligible bachelor in all of Bulgaria walked in to take his seat in the front row. The women could not avert their eyes from the handsome man who had been awarded the badge of honor for his badminton expertise. That his rival had tried to avenge his loss and bait the most eligible bachelor into a fight, was amazing. But when the most eligible bachelor paid his rival's bail, his reputation grew even more. If a ballot had been taken today, this man would have been made mayor of the city.

　　Then the curtain started to rise for the ballet to begin. When the curtain stopped half way, however, everyone gasped that something was wrong with the automation. Several people, including the bald man and the most eligible bachelor, stood up to try and raise the curtain to no avail. The curtain was only fixed when the General of the north axis army stood, called for autonomy, and solved the problem himself. The audience all stood in awe of the General's skills and gave a round of applause.

　　After everyone had sat down,the ballet began.

　　幕布开始升起，芭蕾舞就要开演了。但是，这时幕布在半空中停了下来，大家都非常吃惊，说是自动操作装置出了毛病。一些人——包括秃头和最有条件的单身汉也都站起来想把幕布升上去，但是却没有成功(效果)。后来北部联盟部队的将军站起来，号召大家别着急，请保持安静(自治)并亲自想法才把幕布弄好了。观众们都很敬畏将军的技术并起立报以一阵掌声。

　　等到大家都落座完毕，芭蕾舞开始了。
