I am an electrician who emigrated from Cuba to the US during the embargo.That was a rough time,but I was one of the elite who embodied everything Castro had so eloquently spoken against.I had to leave.The only thing I was able to take with me when I embarked was embroidery from my grandmother that I was able to embed in the inner pocket of my jacket.I had no empirical proof that it was worth anything,but my grandmother was emphatic that I take it with me.

Now many years have elapsed and I wish to go home to Cuba.And my plans for a return are in embryo. I cannot stay here any more because I am unhappy with the Cuban electorate that says so many bad things about Castro and my homeland.I know this because I was elevated to a leadership position in the Cuban community based on my family's eminent history.This was a boost for my ego even though many other individuals were more eligible for the position than I was.But when I was not able to emulate the ideas of the community I was ejected.

That is why I am now writing to you to elicit your support for my return to the land that I was born in.From the time I was an embryo I was meant to be in Cuba.Even though I was raised in a rich family,I have no money.Please respond that you will be able to help.
