Today I’m going to talk about rain. Normally this weather starts around Qing Ming festival. A lot of people may get annoyed by this gloomy weather or the traffic congestion or anything. To me, it’s always my favorite, as rain brings relief from scorching heat and sweat, which is always irritating. In other words, rainy days give me a chance for rejuvenation amidst the stress.
I really enjoy the feeling of being trapped by torrential rain, staying at home and spending quality time with my family to enjoy fritters or other snacks, but at the same time I’m also happy to step out in the rain, going on a long drive with my girlfriend, finding a hole-in-the-wall coffee shop on a random street, and taking a sip of hot latte, watching the world go by. These activities also give me a break from the monotonous routine as I mostly prefer to leave my study or task to enjoy the weather. On top of that, I really think the white noise of raindrops with soothing background music makes me feel peace in mind. So yeah, that’s pretty much everything.
