举个栗子，在英国这个传统媒体的王国，报业的发达是有目共睹的，所谓的broadsheet，我们可以说是大报就比较像中国的《人民日报》《南方日报》，报道政治经济重大事件，内容严肃客观，英国的大报代表是《泰晤士报》和《卫报》。
a tabloid 通俗小报
(of or relating to) a type of popular newspaper with small pages that has many pictures and short, simple reports
tabloid则通常是四开，版面为大报(broadsheet)的一半，内容以娱乐文艺为主，比较轻松愉快，也可能完全无节操无下限(比如英国有名的《太阳报》)。
